Was out trying for some eyes on Sunday.Tried Minnesota side downriver from Lake city and up from where the river narrows up.Boy was there a lot of people fishing that area.I marked a lot of fish there but didn’t catch any

or see any caught in that area.Mostly stayed with jigging and trolling the riprap.Caught one eye for supper tonight 21inch on a original floater gold rap on a 6 foot leader and bottom bouncer 1.2 mph.I also tried Heddon blade baits and a little more aggresive jigging and the carp would really hit them.I’ve never caught carp this way before but it was fun.I thought for a short time big eye but noooooo. Also had a couple of bite offs,

probably some northers or other toothy critters were also working the area.

yeah…. good ol sonars… Ive caught about everything on them… for some reason, at times the carp and buffalo go crazy for them….. particularly the orange color….. and there was one day I also had cats really hammer them as well!!
