    What is the average on ice out on Lake Pepin?

    Army corp website says April 9th is the average ice out date but that goes back to the late 1800’s before the nuke plant was in operation. Latest recorded ice out was May 20th.

    I put a quarter bet on the ice going out the week of the 8th…I’ll put another quarter on barge traffic locking it to Pool 3 by Thursday.

    A barge went through Alma at 8:45 tonight going north!

    Shouldn’t be long for those barges to bust up that ice and let that high water do the garbage work. JW if there is going to be some major dock readjustments happening like last year with the big chucks coming down.
