Beatiful day on the water, met up with a guy at everts for a afternoon trip, sure is nice when weather is good and fishing is great! I caught a really cool fish its was a blue sucker and it was big didn’t get the best photo of it but I was more concern getting it back in the water then the photo didn’t realize they are very rare now I wish I would of got at least one good pic! Bite was fun, tossed four away that were over 17″ three of which were walleyes ended up with a two person limt of good eaters

The blue sucker is very cool. A buddy and I were on pool 5 last winter/spring and picked one up – really blue. We did not get a great pic either.

Some nice ol’ filets on that blue sucker. Back in my day when they would run real hard down south on the Sipp, we would net them and have a big sucker fry. Hopeful one day we will be able to harvest them for their tasty filets.
