Pool 14 continues to be tough.

    Pool 14 was SLOW again today. We did manage to catch 5 eyes , but we worked are butt’s off for them. The water was very dirty with plenty of floating grass. There was one highlight of the day, a nice fat 27.5 incher, she crushed a ringworm. The water was 59 degrees , so that is a significant improvement over last weeks mid 60’s water temps. It will just get better the cooler it gets. Here is a pic of the 27.5.

    nice job, pool 14 for me has been tough all season!!

    I’ve tried some bobber fishin and you just seem to be untangling the grass all the time

    I don’t think I’m going to make that one. I will be fishing the IWT on November 13 in pool 14. If work would slow down a bit and I get a deer in the freezer I just might make it out there. A guy just needs more time off.

    Looks like you did a lot better than I on Pool 4 this weekend. Went up there for the Saugerama and I think Mother Nature thought it was the Freeze Your Butt Off. Cold, windy, and the fish did not cooperate. I’ll be heading to Pool 14 the last weekend in October, though. I do look forward to it. Nice eye!

    I’ll be there on the 13th also. Wapo, Galen and a few other really good sticks will be there. Can’t wait.
