Does anyone fish the river downstream of the lake fall-spring for walleye/sauger? I would imagine that more fish run upstream than down but there has to be some in there. I’ve been to redwing a few times this fall but the amount of traffic gets to me at times. Not asking for spots around wabasha just curious if anyone has tried it late and early season, this is my favorite stretch to fish in general not sure why have always been following the other boats and going to redwing when it gets cold.
