Heading up next weekend for a bachelor party, and want to squeeze in some fishing. Anyone been out lately, or have some tips for this time of year? I’ve only fished the lake once, and that was in October for Musky. We are staying at Pike’s Bay Lodge.

“Community spot alert”, head out into Big Bay and target the reef just east of the three islands (Potato, Taylor, Stonich) with the western most being Potato. It should top out in 12-15′ of water and pull crawlers with a red hook in the early morning or around sunrise.

Around sunset, if you have a lake master and can find the 5′ rock pile near Jackrabbit Island outside Evert’s Bay, that should be good for a slip bobber and beer bite with leeches.

    Good luck and have fun!!!
