I wonder if those wise SD birds were caught off guard this year? Do to the change in dates for daylight savings time, we where able to hunt pheasants earlier than I can ever remember. You cannot hunt pheasants until noon until the time change. After the time change, you can start at 10:00 am. All of the books were published stating you could start hunting at 10:00 on October 27 based on the original time change, but the time didn’t change until a week later. Many people were unaware of that so public land was easy to secure during that week
