Hey, can someone give me a refresher/explain the Pike/Sauger/Walleye regulations above the bridge and below the dam in pool 3?

Someone told me regs. are updated this year and I wasn’t able to see anything different.

    x4 walleye 1 over 20″ etc..

    No changes.
    Coming soon, possibly.

Mississippi above st croix, is inland Minnesota rules… opens Saturday.

6 eyes, 1 over 20. Possession same as daily.

3.5 miles of river of pool3 are considered inland Minnesota, because it resides within Minnesota border.

Prescott and below are border regs

From my understanding any changes to what FBRM said wouldn’t happen until March of 2023…if the bill gets to the governor and he signs it. (which he said he would)

Hastings is 6 eyes? I always thought it was 4! That’s kinda nice. Any size limits on the pike?

Your correct, 6 eyes. Just like a typical Minnesota inland lake. One line also.

While I’ve taken many of walleye limit from there I do not know the pike regulations for inland mn, don’t fish for them on the inland portions of the sippi.

Just an fyi, the MN inland section of pool 3 has a 15 inch minimum for walleye with 1 walleye/sauger over 20 inches and a 6 fish limit but once you get to Prescott south the limit drops to 4. So just be aware if you are fishing the inland section only keep a 4 fish limit if you want to head down river and fish the border section of the mississippi.
