How many miles per hour is 3,800 feet per second?
I don’t have time to teach myself the formula…hope some can help fairly quickly.
September 6, 2008 at 4:34 pm #709913And the answer is, 3800 foot/second = 2590.9090909 mile/hour (mph)
I use this web site for any conversion I can’t do in my head.

If you would stop having people call Dean at 5:00 AM this kind of thing wouldn’t happen.
September 6, 2008 at 8:49 pm #70995660mph=88ft/sec- – -so 3800/88X60=2590.909mph
I’d like to donate my award to the St. Croix Fishing Widows Assn. jerrSeptember 6, 2008 at 8:49 pm #709957BK you planning on getting a bigger motor for the boat or is that how fast the line was peeling from your bail when you hooked a big one
September 7, 2008 at 2:11 am #709994About as fast as when the wife tells me to take the garbage out.
April 16, 2012 at 8:10 pm #211497I am getting pumped and have been waiting for this day since she was born. With the new rules for taking younger hunters, I asked my daughter if she would like to go turkey hunting this year. She got a huge smile and said, “YES!” We have practiced with the 20 gauge and she has been smoking a can at 20 yards. She sits in my lap with the gun resting against my shoulder and she lines it up and pulls the trigger!
Got a bunch of Toms patterned just trying to decide where to start Wednesday morning. Its her birthday tomorrow and I am keeping her out of school wed. to hunt the morning.
April 17, 2012 at 1:54 am #119947Who’s more excited – you or her? Good luck and I hope she gets a late b-day gift!
April 19, 2012 at 5:50 pm #120028SUPER cool Scott. Very happy to hear you guys are doing that. I read 6 hours in the blind….incredible patience and stamina for a first time out there. Great to see, you’ll smack one eventually hunting that hard. Looking forward to hearing the battle stories already.
Thanks!
Joel
