Just spent 3days look’n the area over, trying for a few crappie. A bucket of minnows in the slack water below the dam is probably your best bet but the fish’n will take a lot longer than the clean’n….. 
We ran all over, most water temps around 48 in the back waters, 45 where it comes out below the dam.. 
. Did find a little 50degree water on Sunday but it didn’t seem to help the fish’n much…. 
The high, dirty, water doesn’t help and its still a bit early. Still,,,,, I’d rather be there again today,, 
than back here at work…..
