Kickapoo River Browns

Hit the Kickapoo just outside of my hometown of Wilton. This is where the Kickapoo river begins. Started out tossing a mepps and caught a few on that. Then I lost my mepps so I switched over to a small jig with half a gulp minnow on it. They seemed to like the gulp. I would say I caught 8 to 10 trout in the 2 hours I was out. Most in the 10 to 13 inch range.

Did you do any golfing at Serendipity?

I think that’s over by Viroqua or something.

It’s on the West Fork of the Kickapoo on Cty S. You could golf and fish at the same time. I’ve put a couple balls in the river.
