Eternity Remains

    Time is but a stream I go a-fishing in. I drink at it, but while I drink I see the sandy bottom and detect how shallow it is. Its thin current slides away, but eternity remains.

    Great picture, what I wouldn’t give for a nice drift on that stretch of stream right now, but with the weather from the picture.

    just before the photo I saw at least 20 rises in this section. The trout were feeding on a swarm of Asian beetles. I crawled up to the edge and was focusing my camera and a decent brown blew out of the bank at my feet. It put most of the rising trout down but there was one lone riser left.
