He will be here in about a week.
Going to get a couple more hopper patterns
and a couple red tailed woolly worms.
Have I forgotten anything for small/medium stream
Wisconsin trout?

I went turkey hunting with him. He was very safe
with guns.
“notice” I carried the chair
Didn’t want anything unusual flying.
The Cancer Benefit he is speaking for FREE at is buying his license and trout stamp. It will be his 5th time out with me fishing.
Who else but the Coach would nail a fish like that on a big old Girdle Bug? Great picture Len. Hope you have some nice weather and some good luck.
Do you do your own tying? If so, those look great!
Rootski
Not a huge fan of his or poaching. He wouldn’t be in my business plan.
Nice looking batch of flies though.
I really miss him in the Big Ten. There was never a dull moment in the league when he was here. I was at one of the games when the badgers took them to double overtime and lost. Most electric game I’ve ever been to.

poaching?
details please.
Len
my friend Rich Femling from Rose Creek
gave me 2 fly boxes and the one below
for the Coach to try for smallies. Rich filled
up the box with flies. He saw the Coach on a show
after smallies.

Crawlers
Just kidding Len but do want to wish you good luck! That has to be very exciting. Looking forward to seeing and hearing about your adventure
Where is the fly that immitates a fat stout nightcrawler?
Where is the fly for a 3″ chub tail?
If coach can swing all that big stuff he will catch big trout, especially with you. I was always terrible and pitching big flies, especially weighted ones – duck, chuck, and try not to hurt myself.
Never could cast even a wolly far enough. Always wanted to learn the secret for a long cast with heavy flies. Seemed like I could always cast half the distance with these compared to say a #18 BWO or #16 BH PT.
Seriously you have way too many flies for coach. That would be several hundred dollars worth at a fly shop. Glad you have good connections like Rose Creek.
I wish you guys good luck but honestly you don’t need it. You know the area better than anyone around. Coach probably figured that out years a go.
