Fished a couple of days ago and did real well on the larger sized fish. Started out with a regular rapala with limited success but then switched to a jointed rap. The extra action seemed to lure the bigger fish this day but I didn’t catch any of the smaller ones. Has anyone else tried floating jointed raps for trout and what has been your result?

I’ve used the jointed rapalas for brown trout….but…..I guess that doesn’t fit into the small stream and river category. It was on lake michigan at the mouth of the menominee river in NE wisconsin….but they were proved effective….

Oh it fits!!! However I stick to the solid framed ORiginal floating raps. Believe it or not I throw #11’s at them in some very small water, with fine results!!
