Crappiefest

Haven’t been over there much lately, but decided recently to take Dad out for his birthday for some fun, so we headed out and searched for some fish. With the recent nice weather, the crappies were very abundant in certain areas. They were out and around their cover and easily gotten to. We ended up with well over 100 fish on the day. Needed a day like that to just have a little fun. Although we kept none, I think we could have kept more than usual. Add in a couple white bass and a chunky LMB on light crappie gear, it was a great day to be out with Dad.

As long as the weather stays like this, they should still be on the same pattern. However, it looks like the weather will change just in time for my days off. Figures.

I’ll definitely tell him hi, he’ll appreciate that. Think he’s at the casino now for his bday….party animal.

I’m used to my days off going to crap weather-wise. Happens all the time. I just hope the fish cooperate as I have a friend coming out who never catches fish, so I’m really hoping to find some fish for her that’ll bite.

They’re talking 50mph for Wed and 55 for Thur. Can you tell those are my days off this week?

I wondered who’s fault it was?

That ain’t no lie, neither, guys. I’m furious. You can usually look at a 7 day forecast and pick out which days I have off. Rage.
