our bass club is getting alot more non boaters right now we have more non boaters then boaters

a caouple of us non boaters and boaters have thought about a senority rule to where the people in the club longer are gaurenteed to be in the tournoments

do any of you other clubs have this rule and how does it work

also looking for opinons on both sides for a rule like this

one boater mentioned it to another boater last meeting and the response was (insert bad word here if they want to fish tournoments get there own boat)

Our club has a 60% rule, that is 60% of the members must be boaters. Only once have we had to tell a guy he couldn’t join when he wanted to. Fortunatly he was able to join 2 months later as we gained a boater.

It is very importmant to keep more boaters than nonboaters. The boaters can always then can be drawn to nonboat, keeping in mind not all boaters may be at all the tournamnts. It is also up to all members to attract boaters to club. When one boater is out of club you must reaplace that boater with two new boaters before takeing on non boaters, also it must be encourage for nonboaters to use there tin boats.I would bet there must be nonboaters with tin boats in your ciub that don’t feel confortble running against the bass boats. They must be encourage to do so.
