Picked up a used bow mount minnkota powerdrive to put on my 12′ puddle jumper. I’m going to have to figure out how to get it mounted, probably on a quick-release plate (it came with MKA-16-03). Just wanted to see if anyone has suggestions; I have a couple ideas but others are usually better grin

I had a 1/4inch aluminum plate welded on behind the nose piece.
Used a couple spacers when mounting the quick release to get it just right.

I riveted on a piece of 1/4” aluminum plate behind the bow casting on my little 16’ Lund. I used 1/8” angle under it to just better match up with the casting height and it has worked fine for the past 4 years and 2 different bow mounts.
