I have a new 2020 70hp tiller, there doesn’t seem to be a 3 position tiller handle position setting like I expected, there’s a handle tension nut that you can tighten and is either too tight or too loose. I like to have the handle up when I trailer down the road but it just drops down and lays on the back deck, am I missing something?
I can look at my 2020 20hp tiller tomorrow. I know my handle is very stiff but not sure about adjustment. I leave it down all the time.
I have a new 140 tiller and it does not lock in any position. However it is adjusted correctly and stays up when I put it up.
been playing with the adjustment nut and got it close for now, It’s about the only thing I don’t like about this motor so far, wish they had a locking pin similar to the Mercury for position lock.
