Just wanted to pass on a great way to get a better signal from the stock radio in the WX. If you run a VHF radio, use that antenna. The Skeeter stock radio has a wire antenna that is 24” inches long, wrapped up in a twist tie. No wonder why a guy gets one or two stations. Shakespeares kit works like a charm! Not promoting Hodges, but thats where I picked mine up.

    Realizing everyone’s needs/wants are different I will just add…

The splitter does degrade VHF signal some.
If you have vhf as a safety device and are making long run trips on big water this may not be a “great” option for you.

Just a little tid bit if you test the radio on land with this the reception will be greatly increased but it will not be as good on the water, but it is a definite improvement. When the boat is in the garage I can get radio stations 125 miles away.
