Has anyone been out between brookston and white face river? I fished out of floodwood a few years ago and planning on hitting on Saturday. Wondering if the water cleaned up after all the rain awhile back? Looks like the water is down to a decent level.
Good luck up there. Used to camp out between floodwood and brookston along the train tracks. You fishing cats or something else. Never have been on that stretch in a boat.
If fishing is anything like the last time it will be a good mix of smallies eyed and pike. Cats will be are back up plan. Most of the 11 miles i fished north of floodwood last time wasn’t bad but when it was bad it wad large jagged bolders.
