Locator rigging ideas for 1850

    Picking up an 1850 in a week,puting an hds 5 on the bow and an hds 7 on dash, rigging myself. How are you guys rigging these units? any tips? Thanks Trollingeyes

    I put both the HDS5 and HDS7 on Johnny Ray mounts and am very happy with this set up.No more tightening the knob every time you run big water!

    Sounds like a good set-up!!! Have you got the boat out much since rigged?

    Yes,spent Sat.on Winnebago and Sun.on G.B. and am very impressed with the whole rig. I would also like to thank the guys at Anchor Marine of Appleton,WI for there outstanding service setting it up.
