Just curious what a good score on a single shed is. I found my first one the other day. Sorry i cant get the pic to upload from my phone. It is currently at the local scorer and he was quite impressed. Thanks for any info.

Congrats on your first shed find sounds like you found a good one. It does not matter what the score is because it is special to you because it was your first one.
January 6, 2014 at 9:30 am #1352082Depends on what a good buck is to you. If a 140″ buck is good, a single shed that scores around 63″ would give you 140″ conservatively assuming a 14″ spread (think high and tight rack). If 160″ is good then 73″ would give you 160″ with the same 14″ conservative inside spread.
Another way to look at it is to take your “good” buck score, subtract the assumed inside spread, and divide the remaining amount by 2.
Assuming 140″ and 14″ spread: (140-14)/2=63″.
This all goes out the window when a non-typical shed is encountered.
