As many of you know it’s morel season in SE MN. I’m having a tough year having only sold 15.4 lbs so far. I did find an old shed last weekend, so it made the lack of mushrooms so much better. I found it adjacent to a thick cedar patch that I found nothing in this winter. This is the second oldie that I’ve found in this adjacent area.

I think it’s just about time to take a year-end picture.

Good luck to all the morel pickers!

    Congrats.

I have had a fair or better year for morels but I have done alot of walking to find them. Not the usual big bunches I normally except for some grays.

Nice find! 15 pounds of morels would feed me just fine
