Had a day and a half to fish here over sat and sunday and got out on the ice for a bit. Fished some new bodies of water as well as some old ones. Had a tough go at it getting a few smallmouth as well as a few quality sunfish but not real good numbers. Did hit a nice batch of perch sunday night right at dark with a few of use icing about 75 jumbos. To late and to cold for any photo opps as most fish slid back down the hole to be caught another day. Working tonight and gettign back at it the next couple of days.

Curious, how much ice was on most of the lakes you visited?
How much snow? Can one get around with 4 wheelers?

    Thanks for the report.

Ice depths are varying right now from 12-18 inches. I am using a 4wheeler right now as there is mainly a few inches of snow on the lake making for easy travel. Truck traffic noted on bitter and waubay at the moment as well as some others. Hearing of a few trucks taking the plunge though. Be safe, – Q
