As some of you may have seen or should go check out. James was recently out and we got on a good crankbait pattern in South Dakota and there is a video posted. Anyway This pattern is still there from what I found out yesterday. With the temps being absolutely relentless lately . Fish are still suspended out over the basin roaming aimlessly. We have been running number 5 jointed rapala shad raps as well as straight number 5s. Firetiger, hot tiger, as well as the all popular clown have produced well. With the hot tiger color seeming to turn the bigger fish. Fish are being caught from 21-24 feet of water running suffix 832. We are experimenting with line lengths of 75-125 feet and letting the fish tell us what they want. With little to no wind most days it is a great pattern right now. Hopefully soon the wind will pick up, and the temps might drop. Be safe and good fishing. – Quintin

PS – perch are getting hungry as well.
