I liked what I saw out of the QB! Gutsy win, we’ll take it!

Didn’t have a chance to respond until now…. Thought the game was mostly boring and bizarre until the end. Mostly my thought was NEITHER team deserves to win. However, give the Gophers credit for hanging around and pulling out the comeback. Seems, very rarely to see a low score in college.

I’d say Ruhle got Nebraska on the right track. But, Fleck showed some serious credentials at the end with play calling and clock management.

Gophers need to find an RB and the Greek kid needs to do better. Defense looked good.

Was at the game and the pumped in music was crazy loud (am I old?) I want to hear the band and the crowd that’s it! Neither team looked that great, but if your offense controls the ball and your D forces turnovers you can win some games.

The fake noise and music is always really loud there.

Both teams have good D. Lotta wolves who live for the kill. Gophers offense will gel. They lost their center, guards, qb and rb. Jackson showed unbelievable poise getting his toe down before the other foot landed. And it was fourth and ten!

Do both teams have good D or lousy offenses?

Doesn’t matter except to the kids because both teams will fall far from winning anything meaningful. Oh wait…..Gophers will qualify for the Huggies Diaper Bowl against the #6 team from the powerful ACC.

Colorado is pounding on Nebraska as expected. Doesn’t make the squeaker over Nebraska look any better.

Nebraska’s defense had a chance to shutout CO in the first half despite their offense being absolutely horrible and turning the ball over in their own territory. Their D is legit so I actually think it makes last week’s game more bearable.

Black uniforms?…….Really? Does that make them tougher or play harder? A money grab? I would have thought they could figure out some combination of Maroon & Gold. coffee

Washington State is currently beating the Badgers 24-6 in the 2nd quarter.

The Gophers dominated… smash granted it was Eastern Michigan but, I suspected the Badgers were over rated being in the top 25… I was right. smirk

Back to boring run every play like its high school. Best part of that game was the long curly haired back judge. I would have just rather watched her.

Actually in the after game interview… he said they had some things to work on going forward, but overall he was pleased with the way they played.

I just learned the gophers QB was not an Irish kid named “Kelly McManus.”

I have quite the conundrum today.
The Belle wants to gamble on todays game as a straight up bet with the Tar heels being a 7.5 point favorite.

This one will cost me. crazy doah

They love Drake Maye in NC he comes from a very good pedigree. His brother played round ball for the Tar Heels when they won the NCAA Championship in 2017 and his Dad was QB for UNC back in the day.
(He went to the same HS as the Belle.)
He could go in the 1st round in 2024. He is good but hasn’t produced up to par so far this year.
With that said, the Gophers will may need to put a kicker motor on the boat today to pull out a “W”.
