If you are pulling or driving I’d recommend a hard case, any will do just depends how much you want to pay. If traveling by foot, theres no better bag/transporter case IMO than the striker transporter bag. Lots of room, fits rods up to 36″, side compartments for jig boxes. I dont even carry a bucket anymore. Throw a couple plastics bags inside for my catch, auger in one hand, flasher in the other and away I go. Light and efficient.
December 20, 2014 at 4:01 pm #1486449right now I am currently using a bag that I got off of http://www.icefish.com and highly recommend it, it works like a charm, its very simple and holds 4 rods a tip-up and some small tackle boxes.

Unfortunately no longer made.
Can carry 6 combo’s with 2 blank rods snugly or 4 comfortable. It also has a pouch above the rods for my tackle, extra gloves, gps, extra reels and a tip down or tip ups.
IMO, by far the most versatile bag ever made.
going on 8 years of use.smasherPosts: 20December 21, 2014 at 11:30 am #1486633http://www.strikerice.com/index.php/accessories/item/36-transporter
This is a great rod transporter and also great for rod storage in the off season.
It was the closest thing I could find to the Stone Legacy Revolution. The revolution is a little smaller but you won’t go wrong with the Striker model. Lots of room.

December 22, 2014 at 2:41 pm #1487032i use the ice fishing innovations case. its big and bulky, but it fites 8 rods easily with tackle cases and tooling like needle nose pliers and such.
