Beginning to feel like I’m in that movie Groundhog Day–another day of trolling in the rain on the far west end of the lake. #5 jointed firetiger Shad Rap by far the hottest bait, back 78 feet behind the planer board and trolled at 2.2-2.6. Bola and I boated six eyes before the weather got ridiculous–50 degree air temp, 66 degree water temp. have ya ever used a walleye for a handwarmer???
Some guys also drifting/jigging leeches and crawlers at west end where lake necks down and starts to look like a river. Saw ’em going for the net several times.
