Crappies!

    It’s not too late to catch a few nice crappies in open water, from shore. I had a chance to try out a few spots today and eventually found a nice mess of crappies. Kept a couple meals of 10-11 inch fish. All they wanted today is minnows – no plastic.
    Several of the marinas on the Mississippi are worth trying right now. Fish slow using a minnow suspended 5-6 ft. below a bobber.

    Some guys really have a good set up. Talked to Mike on the phone today and he tells me he is going fishing and I have to sit at work. Glad to see they are biting good. Thanks for the report. Thanks, Bill
