Lake Zumbro after work

Tried Lake Zumbro again after work last night for bass, the only thing I caught was somebody’s crappie jig and about 10′ of line. Jigs and worms didn’t work and neither did my trusty fall bite spinnerbait. My favorite spot didn’t pan out either. I talked to a guy working on his yard and he said the panfish bite was pretty slow too. There were quite a few fisherman out but I didn’t see any nets. Oh well, the weather was great, I had a full cooler, and I was on the water.

I agree, still sounds like fun to me. Just being on the water is great. Thanks, Bill

    NEWT,
WHEN THE WATER TEMP GET’S BELOW 50 DEGREES, AND EVEN IN LOW 40’S, I HAVE HAD SOME LUCK USING A MID SIZE SHAD COLORED CRANK BAIT. MUST USE A STOP AND GO RETREIVE, WITH MOST BITES AFTER FULL STOP. USE LONGER PAUSES. I WISH I COULD GET OVER THERE, BECAUSE THE ZUMBRO IS A LOT OF FUN TO FISH ANYTIME.
