Really? No thanks. Only available up to 29 inches?! I would rather have a skin mount for that money

Skin mount as you called it would be alot more than that for a 29″er
mnfisherman18Posts: 348March 29, 2021 at 4:21 pm #2025760I agree, I wouldn’t waste my time/money on this. Mounting the fish of a lifetime was worth the $500 it took to get a nice replica made. Plenty of really good options like Fittante, Lax, Artistic anglers etc. who do solid work (some do replicas and skin mounts).
March 29, 2021 at 6:00 pm #2025789ya, I have had 2 replicas done, the fish is 1 cost, but then whatever you choose for a background is another cost. In my case, the background was almost as much as the fish. Either way, its worth it to me, and I dont plan on getting another walleye done unless its bigger than what I have on the wall already

Thats cheap! My 15″ crappie was $250. I wonder how good is the quality? That’s dirt cheap. I just picked up a 41 inch tiger muskie replica and it was not even remotely that cheap.
That was a nice rep you had done. Probably $1500ish? The guy I been using doesn’t advertise at all, just word of mouth real old school but did an amazing job.

It’s wasn’t quite that much. LAX charges $15.95 per inch on a replica. Plus driftwood charge if you want that, and shipping if you aren’t able to get it in person.
His specialty is pure strain muskie replicas so if you caught a 50+ incher then you’re looking at about 1000 bucks or more. Definitely not cheap regardless.
