I know it has been posted before, but I didn’t find it in a search. I need to get a St. Croix Legend Extreme replaced (again) and am not sure the fastest easiest method. Anyone had to do so recently?

Here’s the skinny on St. Croix warranty. All options are covered. You’ll obviously need to send the rod back to them.

June 25, 2015 at 8:18 am #1551806Thorne bros is the answer I order st. Crioxs direct from them and when they break bring it to Thorne bros they charge you the warranty fee and you can grab a new one off there shelf and they do the actual warranty paperwork themselves.
June 27, 2015 at 11:16 am #1552146I went off the website as James posted and it went just fine. They replaced for the price of initial shipment.
I also think most retailers will take care of it too. Pretty sure Scheels did it for a friend. You might need to talk to the right person at the big box stores (ie. GM and Cabelas).
June 27, 2015 at 9:12 pm #1552176I check with Cabela’s and they do not. Thorne Bros does for a $70 fee.
I’ll have to determine how bad I need the rod and how quickly.
