Heading up to gull today and curious if anyone has had any luck with redtails yet. Have never used them, but planning on trying them out this fall

Heading up to gull today and curious if anyone has had any luck with redtails yet. Have never used them, but planning on trying them out this fall
It’s at least reputed to be the hottest ticket every fall over many years. If there’s any doubt check out the price for nice redtail chubs in September
Normally I’m pretty good at not complaining about the price of bait but this one stands out to me. Over a $1 each if I remember right. That said I usually pick up a dozen and go drown them.
Yea, Dave’s wAnted 17$ a dozen, I picked up a half dozen and not one bite. Jigging rap was better. Was gonna dump them at access and a local guide was there so he was more than happy to take them
