Fargo Questions?

    I’m coming up there this weekend and I got a couple of questions if I may ask…
    I tried using Terraserver to try to spot the dams in Fargo and when I saw one it was north of Lindenwood and just south of Hwy 10 and it looked like the river flowed north.

    Does the Red flow south-to-north?

    Which cross street is the Mid-Town Dam near?

    Hi Aquaman,
    Yes, the river does flow south to north. That is why in the Fargo area the river is quite small and it gets to be quite a bit larger as it makes its way north.

    The mid-town Dam is just south of Main Ave. in Fargo. I have heard that the reason our river is so low is that they are working on a dam on the ottertail river upstream from here and that work should be completed by this weekend. Expect a slow rise in the river next week.
