’m in the process of updated boats and have my eye on a 2 year old Ranger 620 with all lowrance, hds and ghost with 240 hours. 250 and 9.9 merc. For about the same money I can get a 2023 skeeter wx 1910 with a 200 and 9.9 Yamaha The electronics aren’t what I want but it does have jump seats and trim tabs. I fish bigger water. 2-3 people. Mostly Missouri River. Jump seats would be nice but not necessary. Any feedback is appreciated. Seems like I’ve missed out on the last few so need to act. Thanks and Merry Christmas.

Merc vs Yamaha makes this an easy decision for me to go skeeter/yami.

I’m not a big Lowrance guy either mainly due to mapping.

Both are sick boats and you cant go wrong. Go with your gut. Enjoy it.

Been in a few skeeters and a few rangers… I would rather have a skeeter, but mainly just because of the layout and the Yamaha’s… either way you go, it will be a good rig that should treat you well.

Sorry boats are not in the same category. 620 is much more boat than a 1910. Yamaha vs Merc is not a problem unless you are a Ford Chevy type.
620 is way more boat than a 1910.
    619 vs 1910 or 620 vs 2060.
In your choice of the two i would take a 620 all day.
Fished out of both. Not equal by any means. PM me if you want a real comparison. If you you want jump seats then Skeeter it is.
Motor choice would not be a big decision both make a legit motor in that class.

Skeeter Yami ! There’s a reason the boats in Florida run Yamahas !

Yeah no mercs in Florida. Even though they own about a 3-4 percent share over yammis. Together they make up 80 percent of outboards. Both are great. I’d take a Suzuki or Honda too.

Both will look good on storm lake and lake view toast

It’s a little too vague for me to give an honest opinion. “About the same money” to some people is a few hundred bucks different while others it’s anything within maybe $5k.

    Share some pictures too

    I’m a Skeeter/Yammie fan but comparing a 1910 to a 620 is apples to oranges. JMO

What style of fishing are you mostly doing? If you troll quite a bit, the 620 with the extra storage in the back might sway your opinion. Lot more room for tackle.

I also agree that the 620 is not directly comparable to the 1910

Still without pictures or anything, I’d probably lean towards the 620 for “value” if price is identical.

I don’t fish in the front of the boat a ton (lots of leadcore, long line cranks, bottom bouncers, fishing out of the back of the boat on wingdams) and the 620 has more room behind the windshield.

^^^overall fishing area probably not. Storage area it’s not even close.
A lot of 2 year old 620’s will come up for sale so don’t feel like if you do not get this one there will not be another one. If Missouri River was my home body of water it would be a 620 over a 1910. The foot and a half will be a big difference in rough water.
Lay out is way different in both and is personal preference. Both are great boats but like others said not an equal comparison.

In general length wins ! If you are a active front bow fisherman the 620 has far more elbow room. The gap on rough water ride is far more narrow than some folks realize due to the trim tabs on the 1910. If you are 3 people or more quite often, the 1910 can start to get small. The 1910 will also be a bit more bow friendly on not getting wet fishing into the wind.

Typically the deciding factor for a lot of folks is the floor plan of rear side boxes vs wide open with jump seats.
