    Heavy rains have the river very high and very fast and dirty. The best bite has been out in the lake in 27-29 ft. For us and shallower in the evening

    Will do. I see the riveris running close to 30000cfm right now. I wont be going unless it drops below 20000. Hopefully well below that.

    there was one year we went up 2nd week of october. river was so high. But we were deterimined to fish that river. 3/4oz jigs and we fished almost 10′ from shore which is pretty unusual for the river near vidas landing. it was slower than normal for us for big fish but still had a lot of eaters.

    I fished Saturday and Sunday, launched at Birchdale and we did good both days, lots of current for sure, just had to pick your spot, fished Rainy Lake on Thursday and Friday with poor results
