pressure cooking tomato question

    Plan on giving pressure cooking a try tonight for the first time. My question is I have done this process with boiling water and we added lemon juice before processing. If I am reading it right with pressure cooker this process is not required correct or not?

    R u referring to canning tomatoes in a pressure cooker? If so, no lemon juice is required. We can 25-35 qts every year and have never used lemon juice.

    yes I am canning sorry forgot to say that. Plan to start these and also make spicy dill green beans this week as well to start off with.

    I too can without a pressure cooker. What is the advantage of using one vs old school canning?
