Pool 9 and 10

Pool 9 and 10 have been pretty good the past few days, both through the ice and open water. Ended up with 12 crappies and 12 bluegills yesterday through the ice. As usual, the bass were absolutely raising havoc with the little cecil’s I had to offer. Also had my personal best pike last thursday on pool 9, a behemoth at 42″!

Good luck if you get out, the next few weeks should be fun!

Nice Peter-Pike Dave! You didn’t tell me about him. Picked up this gill last week through the ice. Hope the pic clarity is okay. You can see this tough little guy wiggled free from a death grip of one mean pike. He was having a very bad week!

The pike came on an oystershell ringworm drug downstream in about 12′. I got lucky as heck, small walleye net, 8lb mono, no leader, and by myself to boot!

There were some smaller saugers being caught out deeper last time I was up.
