catching frogs

    Im down on pool 2 right now catching frogs for bait. They are everywhere on the shoreline. Just thought id give a heads up to other frog hunters.

    Maybe a guy should be bassin in the pads with the frog….

    All leopard frogs so far. I can hear them hopping in the leaves a few feet from the waters edge, go over and shine the light on them and grab them. They just sit there and let you grab them without a jump. Guessing the colder temps have slowed them down.

    The 2 times I caught and used frogs on lakes this year resulted in immediate hook ups with bucket mouths.
    And I mean catch one frog, throw it in, bang. Both times on different lakes.
