Just got a call from a buddy who said he heard on the radio this morning that the DNR is shutting down the upper end of Lake Pepin to all vehicle traffic. Now I don’t know if this is both Wi and Mn DNR or not but he said they would be handing tickets out to anyone driving onto the Lake in the upper end. Just wondering if anyone else has heard anything about this.

This is true…..although last I heard you could use a four wheeler, but this may have changed, this is on the Minnesota side only I haven’t heard anything about the WI side.

You river ice rats have kahunas. I’m sticking with a boat and staying off the upper end of Pepin.
They can have those fish. They don’t taste good from that area anyway.
