    What are everyone’s favorite lakes to ice fish in Polk county? Just curious as I will be fishing here a lot this winter.

    A quick search shows a “Polk county” in at least 5 states. For which state are wanting information?

    My bad. I’m talking about the Polk county across the Croix from Chisago county.

    Grew up fishing Cedar Lake in Star Prairie. Blake Lake. Balsam has a learning curve. Big Lake has decent fishing. Yellow lake can be fun.

    Big like 40 inch fish or bigger? I look forward to seeing the responses for that. Just go to white ash with the masses. A few nice ones come from their every winter.

    I was looking for whatever lake has the best number of 35+” fish.
