Pflueger Pres Question

    I have a President 6920 on a TUCR PN that is a great combo, until it gets to about 10 degrees. At that point, the reel will occasionally back reel when the switch is not flipped. As you can imagine, this is very frustrating when setting the hook. Has anyone else had this happen?

    Clean out the crap grease they use and lube it with hot sauce.

    Yes, I’ve dealt with this before.
    Seems like the antireverse gear or bearing is not engaging. Gear, wipe off the excess grease. Bearing, wipe off the excess oil. Do not grease the antireverse bearings.

    Did that last year and bingo, works better than new.
