I saw there was another thread about the Chiefs and Niners, but thought we could also use a dedicated post to this

Yeah, hard to believe but the Vikings put up a much better fight!
January 19, 2020 at 7:23 pm #1907729Did the Packers not realize this game was for a trip to the Super Bowl?

That’ll make them happy in February.

I agree, I blame the former GM for squandering his best years.
January 19, 2020 at 8:45 pm #1907789Solid season for the Pack. First year coach with a new offense this team totally exceeded expectations. Most people thought this was 7-9 or 8-8 team at best. Add a couple wr’s and some help on the D line with another year in the offense bodes well for next year. Hats off to SF they were the better team tonight.

January 20, 2020 at 10:06 am #1907904The Packers backed their way into the playoffs with a few Favorable calls at key moments in 2 or 3 games. Then barely hold on to beat a beat up Seattle team. Then get annihilated by SF. They are who we thought they were. A average team with a aging whiny QB. Yes I know – They beat the Vikings twice this season. So they do have that going for them.
January 20, 2020 at 10:07 am #1907905Yeah for a nobody running back to set the second highest playoff total of all time is embarrassing. The 4 TDs by the same guy is even worse. I thought the Pack had a good defense?
January 20, 2020 at 11:00 am #1907923Anyone heard of Raheem Mostert before? Wow!!
Most Fantasy Football guys have since he was stealing the thunder from Breida and Coleman down the stretch. 9ers have a pretty crazy stable of RB’s when you consider they still have Jerrick McKinnon on the books somewhere too! I was really surprised by this game, I thought GB would be able to at least slow the run, and definitely didn’t think Rodgers would get shutout until the game was basically over.

X2.. A couple experts are already anointing Patrick Mahomes as the greatest NFL QB to ever play the game.
I think that discussion should be tabled until he actually Wins a S-Bowl.
Might not happen- 49ers D could run over the KC offense.the rush to Crown him/anyone the Next Greatest to play, is shortsighted at best.
