Been having a blast fishing we have had some good numbers, 17,23,21,56,23,17,40,26 all these numbers are the walleye and sauger counts. These are per day!!!

nice. i only been out twice a couple weeks ago and it was pretty comparable but i only fished the morning window. might have to get the leadcore rods out this weekend since i can’t get crawlers for now……any mayfly sightings in the lake? i heard rumors of some up river.

Never saw any mayflys, most all fish was morning but on crawlers

We saw some small may flies at lake city Saturday. The bite was not stellar for us as it has been the last month. A little bumpy. Still caught fish but had to work a little. Things are changing. The shallow speed trolling bite was fun!

I caught similar amounts numbers-wise – on Saturday but it was basically the same 14″ walleye 20 times. Heh. So, in terms of ‘keepers’ I did not fare well.

As usual, however, I had no problem catching giant sheepshead.

Saw some mayflies around lake city. Not terrible. Yet.
