On the way to work this morning i recalled that i’m getting close to my 5 year anniversary which means I’ve likely at/exceeded my 1,000th trip on the Croix/Sippi.
Fun to reflect on all the things I’ve seen and learned in the past 5 years.
If I’ve learned one thing about myself and the rivers over the years, it is that i prefer October through March!

Here’s to a few more! toast

Thanks IDO for helping me greatly on the river!

Congratulations on the milestone and congrats at catching such large fish right in our backyard so to speak. I have had to travel to Canada to catch fish like that. Nice job waytogo

A lot of information you have posted here is high level stuff, but with 1,000+ trips of experience under your belt…your information was not just what you read on the internet. lol

Keep the good stuff coming… peace

Thank you for sharing all that you have learned and congratulations on making it to 1,000th trip in 5 years. I wish I could get out like that. I have to wonder, how many hours are on your electronics?

Out of curiosity, how do you have the time to get out an average of four days per week, every week of the year? I don’t recall you noting that you’re a guide.
