Hit West Okaboji Sunday with my good freind T.J. in search of some nice slabs. I don’t do a lot of bluegill fishing but man its fun.
Fished 18 to 20ft just off weedline in what I think is called Echos bay. Slip Bobbered a leech or chunk of crawler 2 to 4ft off the bottom and or jigged a leech or crawler with a jigger 2 to 4ft off bottom worked the best. Pulled 6 nice keepers ranging from 7 to 9″
It was a great day just to be out and catching some nice eaters was a plus.
