ODN – Deer & Turkey Classic, cancelled?

    My buddy wants to go to the Classic this weekend. He’s the owner of Antlers by Klaus, and had a booth at the Iowa Deer Classic last weekend – he said attendance was very high. Although, this week there’s been many functions and sporting events cancelled nationwide. I went to their site and don’t see anything about the show being cancelled. Are there any vendors on here who know anything, or is it come at your own risk? He wants to go Sunday, I’d hate to go down there and be a dud. I think the new venue will be much better, minus the lack of attendance this year. I also wonder if many of the guest speakers may not show, if they’re flying in.

    They did cancel it. They were open until about 7, after that it was no charge and some vendors were stating to take stuff down…..got a great deal on a crossbow.

    Yep, the Outdoor News pulled the plug and cancelled the show after Friday.

    This was a really raw deal for the vendors because they sent out an email just on Wednesday saying the show would go forward.
