October update

    With October a week old fishing has been worth getting out there. I am doing some shore fishing as well as boat angling. VMC mooneye jigs tipped with a minnow from shore on various rip rap shorelines towards dark are turning some nice fish. Metallic green jigs or chartreuse seem to be favorable colors. Trolling plugs along dying weed lines in 12 foot of water is producing more numbers. #7 minnow raps in fire tiger seem to be the best color as well as hot steel. Hopefully find some time on top of duck hunting to keep pursuing some fall bites. Good luck to all those getting out.

    keep up the good work, hope to see you in a week or I’ll let you know, but if the new windows I ordered show up, that excuse that I have to put food on the table excuse won’t fly with mama.
