Had to say goodbye to my hunting partner Sammy yesterday. Prostate cancer took him much too young at 10. Best dog I ever had the privilege to hunt with and the best buddy a guy could ever have. If that wasn’t bad enough when I got home from the vet I called my oldest and best friend to give him the bad news and he said he had some more bad news. He was just diagnosed with throat cancer. This is not shaping up to be a good year.
