Hey guys I am curious about Northland butterfly blades. How do they work? Do they turn at a pretty slow speed? How are they compared to like a propeller or smiley blade? Thanks

Did very well on the smaller size in any color this summer for walleyes. It does not take much for these to spin at all. Smile blades I have no faith in because I’ve never had a stellar day with them nor really given them a chance so I can’t compare to them..and the prop blades I have used are aluminum or brass and quite a bit heavier and take a little more to spin from my experience. Fast fwd to now and have still been doing well while also catching quite a few perch and crappie on them as well about 3 to 1 vs a normal Colorado blade

Thanks for the info. I’m going to pick up a prop blade called loves this weekend in South Dakota I’m hoping.
